Who was Anne Frank?

Anne was a young girl, She was born in 1929 in Germany and she was a Jewish girl. Her family was persecuted by the Nazis so they took refuge in Amsterdam. The Nazis were cruel soldiers, they killed six million people. It was a terrible tragedy.
At that time Anne was 14 years old and she wanted to be a writer.
While she was hiding in the attic she wrote a diary about that bad experience and about her normal feelings.
Anne’s diary was published in 1947 and it is one of the most
popular books in the world, it has been translated into more
than sixty different languages.
